Christian Evangelism

By Sid | August 7, 2008

There is a growing term among young Christians today and that term is lifestyle evangelism. This means not just talking the talk but walking the walk. It means being a Christian every day and in everything that they do, not just for an hour a day on Sunday morning.

The evangelistic lifestyle is showing its way onto the internet. There are Christian only social sites that are equivalent to Facebook or MySpace. There are chat rooms full of young Christians sharing their faith with each other. They offer each other support and help with the tough questions that many young Christians have.

These young Christians are volunteering. What better way to show someone the love of God than by helping someone in need. Christians are helping to rebuild homes in New Orleans. They are helping the flood victims in Iowa. Others are seeing the work these Christians are doing and are noticing that there is something different about them, and that difference is the love of God.

Christians are even evangelizing with the clothes that they wear on their back. Christian t-shirts are very popular and are a great way to share the message of God. Many great conversations have been sparked after reading a cool Christian t-shirt.

There is also Christian jewelry. Young Christians are choosing to wear purity rings to tell the world that they are save themselves for marriage. Crosses, rings, bracelets and other Christian jewelry can be found in various styles.

Evangelistic living Christians are finding a way to attract others to the church by living by example. Through their lifestyle choices they are telling the world that it is ok to be a Christian in a world that is becoming more and more secular. It is truly refreshing to see young people choosing to make this choice in a world with such vague moral values.
